Pure CSS Art Techniques

  • Elbow Macaroni Shapes: Created with thick border arcs on elements with border-radius: 50%, using only top and right borders to form the signature C-curve. Each piece is individually rotated and scaled.
  • Metallic Steel Gradients: Multi-stop linear-gradient with specular highlight bands simulating polished stainless steel.
  • Zero-JS Interactivity: All toggles use hidden <input type="checkbox"> elements with the :checked general sibling combinator (~) to trigger CSS state changes.
  • Volumetric Steam: Stacked @keyframes animations with scaling, blur filters, and opacity decay to create rising steam particle effects.
  • Mobile-First Responsive: Fluid clamp() typography, percentage-based art sizing, and @media breakpoints ensure the artwork scales from 320px phones to ultrawide desktops.
